Dhulikhel and Nagarkot both are one of the most popular tourist spots of Nepal. Situated at the distance of 32 km. from Kathmandu valley, Dhulikhel is famous for the amazing view of sunrise and sunset and also for the magnificent view of mighty Mount Everest and many other peaks with altitudes above 1000m.

Nagarkot, which is a single day hiking from Kathmandu valley is also one of the famous spot for viewing the Sunrise and Sunset in their best forms.

Nagarkot Dhulikhel hiking which takes about three days leaves the hikers with joy and unforgettable memories at the end. The hiking trail passes through the settlements of Newar community, where we can get acquainted with their unique culture and traditions, amazing art skills and mouth watering cuisines. On the trail we also get an opportunity to have a close look at sacred statues, pagoda temples, carved wooden windows and sloping tile roofs. Various temples such as Narayan temple, Harisiddhi temple, Gokuleswor Mahadev temple, Bhagawati temple and many others can be seen during our hike.

Besides, one can also have a look at lush green valleys, beautiful landscapes and incredible view of more than 20 majestic mountains standing at their full glory. The experience of seeing the mighty peaks transformed by the first as well as the last rays of the sun is enchanting in itself.

Nagarkot Dhampus hiking is a perfect route to escape from the busy town life and experience the rugged beauty of mountains and innocent lifestyle of the village people.

Day to Day

Day 01Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu

Day 02Trek preparation and Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour

Day 03After Breakfast drive to Sankhu a small town for 40 minutes by tourist vehicle.

Day 04Wake up early in the morning before breakfast to view sunrise from Nagarkot tower and magnificent Himalayan range.

Day 05Hike to the Dhulikhel viewpoint to view spectacular Himalayan range and sunrise.

Day 06Transfer to international Airport for Your onward destination.
