Everest Base Camp Budget Trekking package includes the facilities of  airfare of Kathamndu - Lukla(two ways), an English speaking guide, porters, TIMS permit, National Park entrance fee and a shuttle service from airport  to hotel and hotel to airport, accommodation in Kathmandu with breakfast, three times meal on trekking with accommodation. This special package designed by Beside The Himalayan Treks is starts with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and our guide and porters  will facilitate the trekkers during the trek.  We trek for two days, before the first acclimatization against Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) at Namche, then for two more days before the second acclimatization at Dingboche. Before reaching Dingboche, we also enjoy the hilltop settlement of Tengboche and the Buddhist Monastery, guarded by the awesome views of the peaks, including Tawache, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. From Dingboche,

we set off to conquer the base camp of the Mount Everest (5,364m). Gorak Shep is the last village before the base camp. After base camp, we also hike up to Kala Patthar (5,550m), to enjoy the magnificent views of the Mt. Everest, which is not seen from the base camp, and other surrounding peaks like Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori and Cho Oyu.  After achieving the goal, we retrace the trail used earlier to get back to Lukla and catch a flight to Kathmandu.

Day to Day

Day 01Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. Overnight at hotelWe will come to pick up you with your Name and our official board and transferred to hotel by tourist vehicle. Overnight at hotel. BB.

Day 02Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m), 3 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse.Our First Day trek starts from 30 minutes fly to Lukla and walking 3 hours to Phakding(2650m), the trail descends, gradually passing above the large village of Chaunrikharaka (2680m) and on through small villages, fields and forests following a wide well constructed path. After Kusum Drargka, a large stream, the trail crosses the Dudh Kosi river at Phakding. Overnight at guest house.

Day 03Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m), 5 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse.Today we follow the western bank of Dudh Kosi passing through forests of Blue Pine until it reaches the village of Benkar(2700m). From here the trail crosses to the eastern bank of the Dudh Kosi, and climbs gently to the village of Chumoa. Between here and the next village of Monjo (2800m) the trail drops steeply to cross Monjo Khola. From Monjo the trail crosses a small rock saddle and then descends abruptly to re-cross the Dudh Kosi at Jorsale (2804m). Beyond Jorsale the trail undulates up until the confluence with Bhote Kosi is reached. From here the Khumbu region begins. Above the bridge the trail zigzags up 300m of the steep spur between the two rivers through sparse forest. From the top of the spur, Mt. Everest can be seen rising above Nuptse-Lhotse wall. The next section of the trail climbs less steeply, traversing above the Bhote Kosi until Namche Bazaar is reached. Namcha Bazaar is a market town, where every Saturday morning traders from lower altitude sell goods to tourist and sherpas. Most of the trading is over by mid-day and the traders return to their villages. Overnight at guest house.

Day 04Acclimatization Day with short hike. Overnight at guesthouse.Today we trek to the museum celebrating the traditional customs of the Sherpa people, as well as about flora & Fauna & its land, more importantly, from here you will get the proper glimpse of Everest and the surrounding mountains. And we hike up the Syanbuche airport, and Everest view hotel and sightseeing at the Khumjung village (3800m/12,466ft), which is the biggest settlement of Sherpa. Khumjung is one of the most beautiful villages in Everest area.

Day 05Trek to Pangboche (4060m), 6 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse.An enjoyable walk down to the river at Phunki Thanhka to lunch next to water driven prayer wheels. A steep butshort climb takes us to Tengboche Monastery through forests of blue pine, fir and black juniper. trek another hour to Pangbuche where oldest monastery are situated. Overnight at guest house.

Day 06Trek to Dingboche (4410m) and hiking to Nagarjun Hill(4920m) then rest , 6 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, B.L.D.Our trek continues to climb as we head to the altitude of 4310m taking our time so not to be affected by the thinning air and you will be taken to Nagarjun Hill(5050m/15291ft). This point offers fantastic views of the fifth highest mountain Makalu 8463m/25625ft. After appreciating the surrounding scenery we trek back to our camp in Dingboche, relaxing in the evening. Overnight at guest house.

Day 07Trek to Lobuche (4910m), 5 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, B.L.D. Today we trek to Lobuche through Thukla(4600m), where last lunch place located and short hike to top of hill.

Day 08Trek to Everest Base Camp (5400m), and return to Gorekshep (5180m) 8 hrs. B.L.Dwalking 8:00 hours,Today we reach our goal by trekking to Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5363m. After appreciating our efforts and photographing the achievement we return to Gorak Shep. Overnight at guest house.

Day 09Hiking to Kalapattar (5545m) - Gorekshep - Pheriche (4210m) 7 hrs. B.L.DAfter reaching Everest Base camp our aim today is to trek Kalapathar (5545m) with start an early morning to reach the viewpoint that offers some of the best views of Mount Everest as well as other panoramas of the surrounding mountains, then descend to Pheriche. Overnight at guest house.

Day 10Trek to Namche, 7 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 11Trek to Lukla, 7 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse.Our last day of trekking returns us to the town of Lukla, where the overnight stay gives you time to explore the town as well as reflect upon the mountains you have recently visited for one last time before heading back to Kathmandu. Overnight at guest house.

Day 12Fly back to Kathmandu (1337m) 30 - min. Overnight at hotel.Flight an early morning at 7 am to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 13Departure to your onward destination.
