Most of the visitors who wanted to explore Nepal mostly visit to discover the facts of Buddhism being Nepal the birth place of Lord Buddha. At the same time, they wanted to observe the highest peak in the world (Mt. Everest 8,848m.). Both dreams of the visitors come true when you decide to choose Everest Buddhist Pilgrimage Trek. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, your journey begins visiting the Monkey Temple (Swoyambhunath Temple) and Bouddhanath temple both of which are enlisted in UNESCO’s World Heritage sites. On visiting these two shrines, you will get general overview of Buddhism and for the deeper understanding, excitement, thrill and fun; our expert team will lead you to the numerous Monasteries, stupas, Gompas and holy shrines through the trails of Everest Region being Pangboche, Tengboche, and Theme monastery. Thame Monastery is the oldest in Khumbu Region and also very popular for Mani Rimdu Festival and Khumjung monastery is popular for Yeti Skull in the Everest Region.
Your journey to Everest Base Camp Trekking normally starts from Lukla but the thrill of it raptures once you take off to Lukla from Kathmandu. The trail from Lukla leads you to the exciting route to the Namche Bazaar which is widely known as a Gateway of Everest Base Camp and Buddhist Kingdom via Phakding and Dudh Koshi valley. En-route are the beautifully present landscape, hills, rock, waterfalls and stunning scene of the Everest, itself to bring gleam on your face making you forget your tiredness and aches. You will get chance to mingle with the local people and get acquainted with their religion and culture after you cross Tengboche Monastry downhill to Pangboche and then uphill to Pheriche. Going along the Khumbu glacier, you will get to observe pristine Himalayas like Taweche, Amadablam and many more from Lobuche onwards. Then the next attraction Kalapaththar can be reached through Gorakhsep.
Day 01Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.Our Airport Representative will pick you from airport and free transfer to hotel, a short briefing about your trip is held in the evening.Overnight in hotel.
Day 02Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour. Overnight at hotel, inclusive of breakfastThis day you will go for sightseeing in the Kathmandu valley. In the morning after having breakfast you go visit Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, which reflect the local culture and tradition of Nepalese society. Then in the afternoon you visit Monastery around Kathmandu. In the evening you will return to the Hotel.
Day 03Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m), 3 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, B.L.DIn the morning you have a scenic flight of 30 - 35 minutes to Lukla (2800m.) from Kathmandu. During the flight you can see the snowcapped mountains and greenery field below. From Lukla we start our walk and head to Phakding passing through the forest and following Dudh Koshi River. In Evening you can climb to the Monastery to see the Evening ceremony and back to Guest House.
Day 04Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m), 6 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, B.L.D From Phakding the trail follows the Dudh Koshi River and reaches Zamphuti. From there we can see excellent views of Thamserku peak. Then the trail climbs to Chomoa, the site of an agricultural project, an interesting place to have a look around and gain an insight into the farming way of life of these people. From Chomoa, the trail again climbs to Monjo (2840m.) and enters the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park (1148sq km, established in 1976). Walking some distance uphill you will be at Jorsale (2830m.) and after a long climb with views of Mt. Everest peeking over the ridge of Nuptse (7879m.) the trail reaches the street of Namche Bazaar.Visit Monastery for Evening Ceremony and back to Guest House.
Day 05Acclimatization! Hike to Khumjung and return 5 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, B.L.DToday is acclimatization day with some excursion. We can hike to the Everest View Hotel, the ideal place to overview some of the outstanding mountains such as Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse etc. You can walk around the Khumjung valley where is ,old Monastery with head of yeti, Hillery School and Khunde Hospital and then return back to Namche.
Day 06Trek to Thame 4 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, B.L.DThis day is also important for explore the culture and of Tibetan Buddhist people and easy day slowly up hill to The Thame. Thame is the oldest village of Buddhist people and old Monastery there. our guide takes to Monastery for Evening ceremony.
Day 07Trek to Khumjung 4 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, B.L.DToday is easiest day but most important day for to see Huge and Oldest Monastery where you can see head of Yeti with evening and Morning ceremony by monks and local Buddhist people.
Day 08Trek to Pangbuche 6 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, B.L.DToday is little long day but you can explore the many Gumba, Monastery , stupa and Many Highest mountail from on the way through pine forest most of the way with local culture. Pangbuche also famous for Monastery where old monks living and they teach every evening about Buddhism of Tibet to students and visitors.
Day 09Trek to Namche 5 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, B.L.D Today we trek down to Namche,through Tangbuche Monastery is biggest and oldest monastery in Everest region. with panoramic views of Mount Everest and other famous Mountain we go down to Monastery and stop couple a hours on Monastery.
Day 10Trek to Phakding 4 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, B.L.D
Day 11Trek to Lukla 3 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse, B.L.D
Day 12Fly Back to Kathmandu 30 Minute. Overnight at Hotel
Day 13Final departure to your onward destination.
