Ganesh Himal Trekking is known as the “Hidden Valleys” of the Himalayas, the Ganesh Himal range lies on the high valleys of the Northern Tibetan border. This mountain range is one of the mountain ranges that can be viewed prominently from the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. It can be seen gleaming in the sunlight at dusk and dawn, reflecting the wonders it holds in its serenity.

A trekking through the Ganesh Himal ranges is definitely a special trek to take on. Offering spectacular views of isolated biodiversity and cultural heritages, the Ganesh Himal trek is bound to keep you awestruck from the scenic and panoramic view that it feeds the eyes. The Ganesh Himal Trekking through the high valleys of Ganesh Himal requires previous trekking experience and a good physical fitness. Although not comparable to the other formidable trekking routes of Nepal, this trek is relatively difficult and should not be taken on by an amateur hiker. The best season for visit would be from the month of February to May and August to December, although the trek is open throughout the year.

The trail across the hidden valleys of Ganesh starts from the base of Trishuli River which follows an ascent through the upper valley landscapes. One can witness the panoramic views of mountains and hills covered in greens that are all covered by rich and diverse floral and faunal species. Along with the natural wonders, the cultural tradition and the way of living of the inhabitants of the area may surprise you at times. Architectural structures of the tradition of the local people like flat roofed fortress-like houses in the village are some of the cultural specialties of the trek.

Truly, this majestic journey through the legendary hidden valley is one that is utterly enjoyable. No matter the odds, a trek to Kanchenjunga is definitely worth it.
