Langtang valley trekking passing through the Langtang valley famous as "the valley of glaciers" is one of the most famous trekking destination of the Langtang region. With the trekking trail traversing through the green and lush forest of the rare vegetation such as pine, juniper, rhododendron and other species, swift brooks, enchanting mountain streams, magnificent peaks and grassy meadows full of blooming flowers single visit to this region is sufficient to give you memory of a lifetime.

The initiation point for the Langtang Valley Trek is Syabru Besi village which is famous for its rich Tamang Culture Heritage. The trekking route first passes through a sub-tropical forest and then through dense jungle of pine, oak and birch which then opens into the alpine meadows and yak grazing areas near the Langtang village. Trekking in this region during the spring makes you feel as if you are walking in a heavenly world carpeted with variety of wild flowers, tree orchids and Rhododendrons. The main attraction of this trekking are the panoramic views of Langtang Lirung, Pemthang Ri, Langshisha Ri, Dorje Lakpa, and Kangchenpo, high passes engulfed in the cool mist, crystalline lakes and large glaciers which comes on your way as you move forward .

This trek also provides you an opportunity to get a close insight on the rich culture and tradition of Tamang and Sherpa communities inhabiting this area. Good network of the well facilitated Lodge provided by the inhabitants make this trekking more convenient. The monasteries, cheese factories and the various cultural heritages falling on the way plays an important role in making this trek an unforgettable journey.

Day to Day

Day 01Arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport at Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.Our Airport Representative will come to pick up you and transferred to hotel by private tourist vehicle. Overnight at hotel.BB

Day 02Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley. 5-6 hours. Overnight at Hotel.Sightseeing of world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley including, Kathmandu Darbar square, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath .Overnight at Hotel.BB

Day 03Drive from Kathmandu to Sabrubesi (1610m) via Trishuli and Dhunche . 8 hours Overnight at Hotel.After Breakfast your Trekking Guide will comes to pick up you and Drive to Syabru Bensi from Kathmandu which takes about seven hours by bus/jeep. You head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Syabru Besi passing through Dhunche. While passing along the road at the bank of Trisuli River you catch a glimpse of Ganesh Himal, terraces and green hills. As you pass through Dhunche you feel as if you are heading towards deep land. At the same time, you notice that the road is still under construction. Overnight at guesthouse, inclusive of full board meals

Day 04Trek to Lama Hotel (2480m). 6 hours. Overnight at Guest House.Today, the first part of the trail crosses through Bhote Koshi and follows the Langtang Khola. This trail is gradually climbs to Bamboo passing through the Landslide area. Afterwards, your trek ascends gently to Ramche (2400meters) through Bamboo (1960meters) which lies at the bank of Langtang Khola. You can have lunch at this place if you like. And at the end your trail is level to the Lama Hotel. En route you could see red pandas, monkeys and bears if you’re lucky. Overnight at guesthouse, inclusive of full board meals.

Day 05Trek to Langtang village (3541m). 5 hours. Overnight at Guest House.The trek route follows Gumanechok, Ghoda Tabela literally it means the Horse Stable. After this the trail is slightly gradual and beautiful in the valley with the grazing Yaks.Langtang village is one of the very local and old villages along this trekking route and the view from here is more spectacular. Overnight at guesthouse, inclusive of full board meals

Day 06Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3910m). 4 hours. Overnight at Guest House.Today is a shorter walk but enough for acclimatization. The surroundings are interesting also because of the famous Cheese factory. This beautiful valley in the lap of the Langtang Lirung and other around. A place to explore the valley and lots of small peaks to climb. Overnight at guesthouse, inclusive of full board meals

Day 07Hike up to Chorkari (5053m) and explore hidden valley around Kyangjin Gompa. 6 hours. Overnight at Guest House.Today is a day to rest and explore the area. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and ascend at Chorkari Ri (5050 meters) which is highest point of this trek, directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peak.Overnight at guesthouse, inclusive of full board meals

Day 08Trek down to Lama Hotel (2480m). 5:30 hours. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 09Trek to Sabrubesi (1610m). 5 hours. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 10Drive back to Kathmandu from Sabrubesi and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 11Transfer to International Airport for your onward destination.
