With a height of 5500 meters, Yala Peak of Nepal is situated in north from Kathmandu in the Langtang Himalaya region of Nepal near the border of Tibet. The trail through the peak provides spectacular view of the Shishapangma on a clear weather. Popular throughout the world as the “First Himalaya” to try out the amateur mountaineering skills, Yala Peak promises to provide trekkers with the full fletched experience of peak climbing with all its serene views and moderate challenges. The Yala peak climbing route involves a base camp towards the end of the trail and a high camp half way beyond the base.

If you are looking for an easy peak to scale, just in case you are someone who is an amateur mountaineer, Yala peak is the best peak in Nepal to give you just that. Graded with a class of Grade F, Yala peak provides the warm-up for Naya Kanga on the opposite side of the valley. However, the grading system depends upon snow conditions and other environmental factors.

The journey inaugurates from Kathmandu followed by a 7 to 8 hour drive to Dhunche by bus. The bus ride is followed by the start of the trekking route at the base of the Langtang valley and the Kyangjin Gompa. After passing Kyangjin Gompa, Yala Peak can be seen towards the North of the route providing a spectacular view of Langtang, Lirung, Langsisha Ri, Gangchepo, Dorche Pakpa and many more mountain ranges from Nepal and Tibet.If you are someone who is inexperienced and wishes to challenge yourself, Yala Peak is definitely the peak you should be scaling.

Day to Day

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters). Overnight at hotel.

Day 02Pre-trip Meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.

Day 03Drive to Sybru Bensi (1462meters) by bus 8 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 04Trek to Lama Hotel (2500meters) 5 hours.

Day 05Trek to Langtang Village (3307meters) 5 hours.

Day 06Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3798meters) 4 hours.

Day 07Kyanjin Gompa exploration and acclimatization day.

Day 08Trek to Yala peak Base camp (4400meters) 5 hours. Overnight at Tented camp.

Day 09Summit Yala Peak(5732 meters) and back to Kyangjin Gompa. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 10Spare day in case of bad weather.

Day 11Trek back to Lama Hotel (2500meters) 5.30 hours.

Day 12Trek to Syabru Besi(1462meters). 6 hours.

Day 13Drive back to Kathmandu by bus. 8 hours.

Day 14Leisure day in Kathmandu for valley sightseeing and shopping.

Day 15Transfer to international airport for your final departure.
